Trees without borders

I've made some progress painting my tree plaques.  That's no small task with a demanding infant and overly bouncy toddler jostling me all the time.  They aren't perfect (due to said jostling), but I'm pleased nonetheless.

I love how the colors turned out -- especially the fall leaves!  I only have one problem...  What color to paint the borders.  What color would you use?

  1. Lovely! I would see the border brown as trees or maybe the inner contour of the border would be a little bit darker than the rest of it...

  2. I would definitely go for black if I were painting them.

They look fabulous though! Do they have some way to hang them up? Or are you going for the "Plate stands"???

    Great job. :)

  3. I am leaning toward black borders too. I bought some stick-on picture hangers so they can be hung on the wall.
