DPP#9 - Corkscrew Tendrils on Thorny Vine

Dried tendrils of some sort of creeper vine. It has small white flowers in midsummer with a very strong fragrance. Some day I'll positively identify it!

  1. Is it a Bristly Greenbrier (Smilax Tamnoides)? I have something that looks similar and believe that is what it's called.
